Obituary of Howard Gibbons
Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on February 4, 2013 in his 84th year. Howard Gibbons, predeceased by his loving wife Audrey. Dear father of Patricia of Kitchener, Stephen and his wife Belinda of London and James of Kitchener. Loving Grandfather of Audra, Shannon, Trevor & Crystal and Great Grandfather of Carson. Dear brother of Doreen, Roy ( Sue ), and Murray ( Helen ). Howard was also predeceased by his stepdaughter Judith and his parents Howard & Annie.
Howard was a dedicated long time serviceman for Washarama and Bates Maytag. He was considered the original "Maytag Man". Dad was an honest, reliable, hardworking man, his faith, wisdom and common sense is not learned in any school. He taught us, family comes first and how to stay a strong unbreakable family.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Howard with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday February 10, 2013 from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday February 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Angus Sutherland officiating. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Reception to follow.
