Obituary of Lyla Smuck

Passed away at her home at Heritage House St. Jacobs on Friday March 8, 2013 in her 93rd year. Lyla Eileen Smuck, loving wife of the late Harold Ethimer Smuck. Dear mother of Judy Homeyer (Ed) of Oakville and David Smuck (Muriel) of New Hamburg. She will be lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Lyla will be remembered by her sister Beulah Hart (Lloyd). Predeceased by her parents Levi Bowman and Ismay Gunby and also predeceased by two brothers Lloyd and Stanley and sister Ina. Lyla was a longtime member of Bridgeport United Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lyla with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 11 am. Interment at Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
