Obituary of Jean Wiersma

Passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour at Grey Gables Home for the Aged, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Evert (2004). Cherished mother of Bob (Paula) Wiersma, Katherine (Harold) Watson, Helen (Delmar) Shulist-Martin and Lucy Walker (Mike Paquette). Jean will be missed by her grandchildren Craig, Todd and Lance Rettinger, Karen Button, Derek Quill, Adam and Nicholas Shulist as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Jean was also predeceased by her sister Luurtska Bos (1995) and granddaughter Jennifer Seifried (2012). Jean loved the great outdoors and enjoyed gospel music to the very end. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 25 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. A service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at Waterloo Christian Reformed Church, 209 Bearinger Road, Waterloo on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Vicki Cok officiating. A reception will immediately follow the funeral service at the church. Interment in Hawkesville Cemetery.
