Obituary of Harold Enstone
Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on May 1, 2013, age 92. Harold was the loving husband and best friend of Kathy. Beloved Father of Donna and husband Robert Lemon of Lindsay, Mary Birss and son-in-law Bruce Watters of Guelph, and Daryl Enstone and husband Christopher Ford of Waterloo. Treasured Step-Dad of Ev Danis, and Peter and wife Kim Craigman. Loving Popsy of Christine (Scott) Rector, Dayna (Bill) Panay, and David (Tracey) Watters. Cherished Pumpa to Leah and Michael Danis, and Christopher and Kayla Craigman. Dear Grand-Popsy to Tyler Rector, and Liam and Lyssa Panay. Harold is predeceased by his parents Henry and Elizabeth nee Williams, first wife Margaret Pantry, granddaughters Sharon Watters and Dale McIntosh, great-grandson Jason Rector, and sister Gladys Briggs. Harold was a World War II Veteran serving overseas from 1943-1945. Afterwards, Harold became a Certified General Accountant and worked for Revenue Canada Taxation in Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, Windsor, and Kitchener until 1984. In his retirement Harold spent his time travelling, woodworking, and golfing at Conestoga Golf & Country Club. Harold was also an active and faithful member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Harold with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday May 3, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen St. N, Kitchener, on Saturday May 4, 2013 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place, and interment will follow at a later date in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
