Obituary of Giovanni Congi

Passed away at his residence in Waterloo on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his wife Saletta in 1993. Loving father of Rosanna Congi, Antonio & his wife Rina Alessio, Battista & wife Caterina, Sarafino & wife Marlene, Mario & wife Rosa. Survived by his grandchildren Giovanni (Stella), Frank (Ashley), Luca (Daniela), Elisa (Ross), Giovanni, Anthony, Rory, Matthew (Sarah), Jennifer, Cristina, Adam and Jamie. Loving great grandfather of Marco, Katrina & Annabelle. Giovanni will be missed by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Antonio & Anna Congi and his daughter in law Regina Congi. Friends are invited to share their memories of Giovanni with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday (today) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Morning Prayers will be held Saturday May 11, 2013, at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's R.C. Church 148 Madison Ave, Kitchener at 10 a.m., with Fr. Tom Vermiglio as Celebrant. Entombment, Roman Catholic Mausoleum Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
