My sympathies to the Kress Family. It's been many years since I last saw Mavis. But I do recall that she was a cheerful person despite all of life's adversities. The last of the Grands - May she rest in peace.

It is Sunday today and Sundays are hard for me as you always shared a meal with us at our dining room table. Your place at the table is now empty but our hearts are filled with love & memories. Miss you terribly.

Dear Shirley and Dick and Families. I was so sad to hear about Auntie Mavis. I loved her so much. It has been a long time since I had the pleasure of her company but she leaves so many fond memories of living in the Flour Mill and her visits with our Family at Christmas and holiday parties. I can picture her sitting at the kitchen table having a beer with my Dad and her hearty laugh echoing through the house on Main Street. Auntie Mavis gave us great Family memories. My condolences to all of you. Barb xox

Dear Auntie Mavis, many years have passed without talking to you but I still remember your laughter, your voice and all of the fond memories spent at our home. So happy my parents picked you to be my God Mother. I will continue to miss you. Love Sharon

Dear Dick, Ros, Shirley & Tom Our sincerest condolences to you and your family. What can we say about our 'Aunt' Mavis, she was a remarkable woman, her laugh was so infectious, she made everyone laugh just listening to her. We loved spending time with your Mom at our parents home. Auntie Mavis our hearts are filled with so much love for you, you will truly be missed. Whenever we are reminiscing about the 'good old days' Rick always brings up the times we would pick Auntie Mavis up to have dinner at our parents house and he would say to her, 'Mrs. Cash let me carry your purse' and your Mom would laugh and laugh. Such a wonderful lady. Love Bev & Rick

During this difficult time I would like to extend my most heartfelt sympathies. Mavis was a good friend to my late husband, Chris. She watched out for him during his stay at the Westmount... truly Mavis represented the voice of those who needed help. Mavis became a cherished friend. She will be missed.
