Obituary of Betty Gingell

Passed away at The Sunshine Centre - Luther Village on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Brian Gingell and cherished mother of Elizabeth, Susan and Ruth Gingell - Potts. We would like to acknowledge our Mum's sacrifice, as a young mother of 32, to benefit her children by immigrating to Canada, leaving her remaining family behind in England. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Lee (Jolene), Karuna, Jesse (April), Ryan and Sydney. Survived by her great-grandchildren; Mya, Radha, Varshana, Emily and Justin. A very special thank-you to Dr. Kathleen Bedrosian who provided exemplary care to our Mum. To Dr. Donna Ward and the Palliative Care Team for their most respectful and compassionate approach to our Mother's final weeks. To the staff of The Sunshine Centre, especially the nurses and the Personal Support Care Team and to Loree Currah for helping our Mother's final months be as dignified as possible. As to Betty's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place in August.
