I feel so very privileged to have known such a wonderful lady named Alice Hagen. My only regret is that I didn't know her for very long. I enjoyed my visits with her at Fergus House every Saturday, where we enjoyed Earl Grey tea and strawberries and ice cream. She always said that it was such a treat. I used to bring my dog, Barney, with me and she always purposely dropped some cookie pieces for him to eat. I shall always remember that feisty lady trying to race me down the corridor when it was time for me to leave. My Saturdays feel rather empty now, as I had been visiting her for two years.
My condolences to her family who have lost a loving mother, grand mother and great grandmother. My sympathies to you all.
