It was a privilege to have worked with Manny at Sheridan. He was a professional who stepped into teaching with a frank and practical mandate and a commitment to his students. Many students benefited from his experience and are successful today in the media industry in no small measure because of their association with Manny Pittson.

We were blessed to have Manny come to CHCH-TV to direct the Don Messer program for us. In his typical patient style he helped Don & the cast transition from their years at CBC Halifax to the realities of an independent private broadcaster. My condolences to his family.

Dear Gillian & family: Manny was a mentor to so many of us who grew up in television. He taught without preaching and guided each performer to do their best in a gentle and encouraging way. It was very sad to hear of Manny's passing. He was a great mentor and friend when I worked with him in Hamilton on the shows.
