I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I knew Paul from our days at Laurier. We shared some good times, including some runs, a few hikes and a winter backpacking trip with other friends in the program. WE keep our memories, and they are good ones.

I regret having lost touch with Paul over the years. We were neighbourhood/high school friends 1968-1971, and I always felt welcome in the family home and enjoyed being there. The time I spent with Paul often involved music, and I even was hired to give him some guitar lessons, which, of course, usually led to playing around with Beatle songs. It will be impossible for me to ever forget Paul's sense of humour and his smile. I'm not sure I remember anyone making me laugh and smile as much as Paul did (and that injection of mirth was more helpful to me at the time than I understood back then). Doing so much travelling because of my work, I'm very sorry to have missed Paul's funeral/memorial service. To mother and sisters I extend my heartfelt condolences. I remember you all with fondness and easily find images of you in my mind's eye. Together with Bob, you all made a very fine family and you hold a special place among the cherished memories of my adolescence. Thank you for that, Paul and family.

Dear Barb, Rob and Family, my family and I pass on our deepest condolences for the loss of Paul. I have memories of Paul when Rob and I were young and Rob would share Paul's love for great music. Rob would talk about his uncle sharing Beatles' vinyls with him.
As John Lennon was famously quoted as saying "Love is a promise, love is a souvenir, once given, never forgotten, never let it disappear."

I am thankful for having had the privilege and honor to have worked with Paul. His contagious smile and witty jokes and compassion for those around him will truly be missed. Paul's face would glow when talking about his children and how much pride and joy they brought to him. I express my deepest condolences to the family.

I will miss Paul's impish smile,
His smile from ear to ear
Paul's laughter was contagious, I will miss our conversations regarding our children's accomplishments. Paul was very proud of his children, his smile grew bigger when he mentioned their names. I will cherish his memory with every Beatle song I hear
Pleasure to have met him

I first met Paul in high-school where we shared a common interest in playing music and both learned to play the bass, he better than me. We continued our friendship through College and University and I too have very fond memories of spending time with Paul and all our friends at the Cottage. At that time he was a "50" man. Paul also lived with me briefly in Toronto, when he was starting his first job and I remember laughing with him as he devoured a "Jethro Bodine"-like mixing bowl of cornflakes before heading off to his work. Unfortunately, as is often the case, we had lost touch in recent years but did manage to catch up with him a few years ago. I am really saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He was truly a unique individual and one of the kindest, most considerate friends I have known. He touched a lot of lives and will be truly missed.

I met Paul through a mutual friend, Rick Coxson, probably around 1972-3. I have uploaded a photo to this website that I took of Rick and Paul one weekend up at Deep River. They were happy times. I am deeply saddened by Paul's untimely passing.
