My family met Mr. Westfall in 1958, when my family immigrated to Canada, from Brazil.
While he offered his insurance services, he took a personal interest in our family. Not only did he offer and found us an English teacher who volunteered to teach my family in her home until evening classes became available at WCI.
Being the oldest, having completed my high school education, with a good working knowledge of English,I need help to apply for jobs. Mr. Westfall was so kind to drive me all over the city, to fill out job application. He was very patient, waiting in his car while I applied. As a result of this job search I was offered a job at a trust company. Banking became my career until my retirement.
I will always remember Mr. Westfall kindness to myself and our family.
