Dear Freddie's family....there isn't a day goes by without a comment or joke I don't think of your Dad, Freddie....yes he was one of a kind....didn't know he was my Dad's boss on the CPR.....talked and joked with him like a Dad mentor....he always wanted me to remind him who our relative was that introduced my Dad and him....just now realized it was Uncle Bob Elliot from Kenilworth....remind me of this when we meet again....Debbie, Sandra this is a long shot...as I try to find your info....there is an ongoing exhibit here in Brampton re CPR at the PAMA museum on Wellington Street, we would love to have any input you may want to share with the exhibitors.... it will end in Southampton at the museum there........most of the info I have re CPR is of my Dad, Blair Allen, the exhibitors have met your Dad....our stories match...please, if you get this condolence re Freddie, who proved size doesn't matter....caring does. his last words for me when I visited him in Walkerton Hosp....pour 2 glasses of wine....one for him, of course....love the legacy he left behind and the love for his wife and family....my # is 716-804-6753 if you should get this message..it is my only way of contacting you! hugs, Gail Allen Blain!

Fred and my Dad, Cliff Denny, had been friends for many years dating back to their CPR days. They thankfully had managed to keep in touch through the years. Fred came to my dad's 90th birthday celebration a couple of years ago - which my dad missed as he was in the hospital with a broken shoulder - but we carried on the party anyway and we did so enjoy our visit with Fred that day. So here's to Fred, we'll be raising a glass and toasting him and Cliff up there watching over us and sharing MANY, MANY stories and "cheering" us too!!

We had the wonderful privilege of Fred joining our Christmas Eve celebration in the past and want his family to know that although he will be missed dearly for his kind smile and singing talent, he will continue to be with us in spirit through each one of you. Happy continuing journey Poppa. Hugs and Kisses

My sincere condolences to Debbie, John and family. I was so sad when I read of Fred's passing. I always enjoyed Fred's visits to the store to bottle his wine with John and Debbie. He was always up on current events and always had a good story or two to tell. He would often bring me a dozen golf balls that he would find on his walks. Fred was instrumental in boosting the sales of Chardonnay. When I told the story of my 90 year old friend who drank only Chardonnay, they would say, I'll take one. Thanks Fred, I will miss you.

I was so sad to read of Freddy's passing this morning in the paper. My sister, Gail visited with Freddy at Thanksgiving & let the family know he wasn't well. I have several fond memories of visiting Ruth & Freddy in their Waterloo apartment. Freddy, many years ago, was so generous in helping me with his knowledge & pictures of his, & my dad's time together on the CPR. He was a lovely, kind-hearted, gentle man & my sincere condolences to the family.
