I was sorry to read of Mr. Doerner's passing. He and Mrs. Doerner were very good friends to my parents, Ed and Audrey Paquette. There were so many good times at the Navy Club. I have such vivid memories, from visiting them at home to the Paris Fall Fair horse shows. They were so generous and brought my sister and I a gift every time they went on a trip. Mr. Doerner visited my father just before Dad died and I know how much that meant to Dad. I have thought of you both often, as I do now during this very difficult time.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your father, grandfather, and friend. Your father was an incredible man. I remember when we (Cosfords) moved out to St. Agatha. We spent many days and events at the home of your mom and dads. As my brother said, the horse shows, excellent memories.
I remember watching your dad train horses along side my dad. I remember running through the horse barn, and having so much fun. I also remember during the winter months, the drop in visits during snow mobile times.
Lots of good memories. My heart is with you all .

Mrs. Doerner, Bob & Karen, Joe & Heather and all the Grandchildren - please accept my condolences during this sad and difficult time. Your Parents\Grandparents were always so generous and kind to my Brother & Sisters plus such a loyal friend of my Father. I will always have numerous positive memories of that "White Mansion", horseshows, trips our parents enjoyed and tons of fantastic recent and past stories. Like many people you will hear from over the next while, he had a significant impact on the course of my life. His love of the Navy and my respect for him was the sole reason I commenced with my career within the RCN. I thank your Father for his generosity, laughter, friendship, guidance and his unselfish service to our Country.
I hope we have an opportunity to share a libation at the Navy club and celebrate the full life he had.
