Obituary of Edith Ellert

Edith passed away peacefully on the morning of January 1, 2014 at Westmount Long Term Care at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Albert J. Ellert. Loving mother to Patrick (Doreen), Joan Brezina and Judy Littlefield. Cherished grandma to 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son-in-law Joesph Brezina, siblings Tony, Madeline, Bill, Betty, Jerome, Doug, Joe and her parents Julius and Rose (nee Snider) Warnholz. Friends are invited to share their memories of Edith with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with the Monsignor Edward Sheridan presiding. Interment will take at Parkview Cemetery and a reception will follow in the church hall.
