Obituary of Mary Thompson

Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, at age 80. Much loved wife of Robert M. Thompson for 61 years; loving mother of Mark Thompson and Kimberly Ann Marges (Tim); loved grandmother of Angie M. Muir (Jeremy), Holly Marges (Andrew), and Matthew Marges (Angel); great-grandmother of Madison, Robert, Nolan, and Sophie and Aubrey; and dear sister of Margaret Hanna of Tauranga, New Zealand and Susan Palmer of Scarborough. Mary was a former Insurance Supervisor at Prudential Insurance Company. She was also a member of the Old Salts Seniors Canoe Club and Grand River Trails. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Chaplain Lucy Graves officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the spring of 2014.
