Obituary of Jean Skanes

Jean passed away at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on January 3, 2014 at the age of 82. Cherished daughter to the late Thomas and Ethel Skanes. Beloved sister to Hubert and his wife Grace, the late Maxwell and his wife Beth, the late Joyce Loveys and her late husband Roy, the late Joan Hunt and her late husband Oswald and Ruth Kunsch and her husband Bill. Loving aunt to David (Allison) Loveys, Sharon Hunt, Wanda Hunt, Alan (Lisa) Skanes, Heather (Bob) Barkley, the late David Skanes, Paul (Sarah) Loveys, Anna (Dave) Waterman, Katherine (Dave) Madill, Jennifer (Eric) Lottman, Jocelyn (Peter) Kunsch, Deborah (Kevin) Kunsch and great aunt to her special Zack, Sarah, Taylor, Mallory, Alicia, Connor, Olivia, Owen, Jake, Emma, Stephanie, Rachel, and Malaika. Jean lived in her faith and was a long-time member of the congregation of St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Kitchener. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Rev. Canon Robert C. Towler officiating. A light reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
