Dear Jean, I am saddened to hear about the passing of your Mother, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. A long time ago, you were truly a best friend to me. You and your family permitted me to learn how to ride a bicycle, using your shiny blue “glider” that was conveniently parked along the side of your place on Dunbar Street. I fell off this bike so very often, and it is difficult for me to comprehend how you ever tolerated the number of scrapes and scratches that I distributed to your bicycle. Thank you Jean; it was on your bike that I learned to ride. Thank you to the Kneisel family for being a part of God’s abundant grace and mercy, that continues with me today!
