Obituary of Margaret Rehberg
Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care on Sunday February 2, 2014, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Rehberg (2008) for 66 years.
Cherished mother of Paul and his wife Martha of St. Clements, and Jeanette Nelson and her husband Keith of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Katherine Rana and her husband Anas, Michael Rehberg and his wife Erin, David Nelson and Mary Kathryn Nelson. Dear great-grandma of Yusuf, Bilal and Shawn Rana.
Margaret was born in Wellesley, daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Schmidt (nee Bickert). She was predeceased by her sisters Talitha LaFlamme (Martin) Dorothy Dietz (Bill), Mildred Stettner (Tony) and Marie White (Art) and by her brothers Ted (Ruth, Eleanor), Bill and Pat (Dorothy). She is survived by her sisters-in-law Bernice Heinbuch, Zelda Bannerman and Dorothy Schmidt. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Bob and Velma Schmidt and Val Elsby for their care and concern.
Margaret was a long-time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg and worked at Audio Transformer for 25 years.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday February 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Friday February 7, 2014 at 1 p.m., the Rev. Olaf Poulsen officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Heidelberg in the spring.
