Obituary of Lucille Plomin

Passed away at Grand River Hospital, in her 71st year, on February 4, 2014 as a result of a severe stroke. Lucille will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her sister Margaret Gruber of Waterloo, brothers Ken and James Meyer of St. Clements, niece Tina (Jeff) Haché and great nephews Cameron and Logan Haché of Waterloo, nephews Michael (Lee-Anne) Gruber of Kitchener and Mark Gruber of Waterloo as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by her husband David Plomin, daughters Tammy and Cheri Plomin, parents Leonard and Florence Meyer, brothers-in-law Konrad Gruber, John and Ronald Plomin and her mother and father-in-law Kathleen and Oscar Plomin. Lucille made many friends during her career waitressing at her parents' restaurant The King Willow (The Campus) as well as The Homestyle Diner. She was a member of St. Clements RC Parish as well the C.W.L. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lucille with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-8:30 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clements RC Church, 3619 Lobsinger Line, St. Clements, on Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 am with the Rev. J. Martin Mikulski, S.A.C.as Celebrant. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Cremation and a family graveside service will take place at a later date.
