I am so sad to learn of the death of Sheila Christie. She and her husband, Bill, were two of my best friends in Montreal for more than twenty years. We enjoyed music together in a church choir every week and also in the Bach Choir, the Tudor Singers and those wonderful Friday night recorder sessions in our homes. Our ways parted when I moved away but Sheila and I stayed in touch through Christmas cards and, later, email. She was a very fine woman and I have been proud to call her a friend. I send my condolences to Rick and his family. Your mother will be remembered fondly by a great many people.

Please inform Ric and his family that we were saddened by the death of his mother. We remember very well the Friday Night Recorder Group meeting at Sheila and Bill's home, plus the goodies, tea and conversation after we were played out. Also their voices in the Bach Choir and the Sunday night Bach cantatas at the A & P Church. They were a great pair. Sincerely, Shirley & Bing.

Dear Ric and Family We were very sad to read about the passing of Sheila in Winston Park. We met Sheila almost 3 years ago when my mother developed dementia and had to move to Winston Park, supportive care floor. Sheila was such a delightful person and she talked about her painting and how much she missed it and loved it. She also was very proud of her son Ric who came to see her every single day for a cup of coffee and a nice visit. We would say hello to each other everytime we saw each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, especially Ric who was such a dedictated son. Sincerely, Marilyn & Tom Lincoln Kitchener Ontario
