Obituary of Kenneth Geisel

Passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on February 24, 2014 at the age of 77. Ken is survived by his beloved wife Janet Geisel (nee Knarr). Loving father to Steven, Kim, David and Sheryl. Cherished grandpa to Christopher (Montana) and Rhea and great grandpa to Hailey. Also sadly missed by his nephew and many cousins. Predeceased by his son Paul, siblings Elsie and Donald and his parents Edward and Mildred (nee Miller) Geisel. Ken was the proud owner of Geisel Auction for many years and enjoyed farming at the farm where he and Janet raised their family. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at the CCAC and the Red Cross for your ongoing compassionate care you showed for Ken. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ken with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Thursday, February 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo on Friday, February 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Krestick officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall and interment will take place at Elmira Union Cemetery.
