Obituary of Margaret Quarry

With the love of her family, Margaret Eileen Quarry (nee Taylor) passed away peacefully in her own home on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in her 93rd year. Margaret was born on November 11, 1921 in Hamilton, Ontario. She was the loving wife of Robert M. Quarry (2006) for 60 years. Margaret is survived by her children, Barbara, Don, Alan and Susan. She was so proud of her grandchildren, Jillian Corry, Caitlin Quarry, and Rob and Kaylee Quarry. She will be remembered fondly by her sister June Lee, nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends. Margaret was a true sports enthusiast, especially curling, the CFL and her beloved Hamilton Tiger Cats. Special thanks to Grace Golem and Senior for Seniors Catherine Cady. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. followed by refreshments and a time to visit with the family in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Though Margaret loved flowers, she wished any memorial consideration be directed to two charities close to her heart: Nutrition for Learning Waterloo Region and KW Community Foundation Kids to Camp Fund.
