Obituary of Harriet Culbert

Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2016 at KW Campus of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. She was born on June 23, 1940 to Simon and Loretta Huber in Mildmay, Ontario. She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend Barry, married for 52 years. Mom is dearly missed by her children: Brian (Karen) Culbert, Brad (Lisa) Culbert, Bev (Shawn) MacMullin and Barb (Billy) Gaul. Grandchildren: Corinne (friend Josh), Courtney (friend John), Brandon, Mitchel, Colton, Emily, Cooper and Laker. Brothers and Sisters: Mary Huber (predeceased), Gerald Huber (predeceased), Arthur (Carol) Huber, Phyllis (Wayne) Collins, Janet Voisin (friend Terry Hansler), Shirley (Ron) Dietz, Harry (Janet) Huber, David (Pat) Huber, Audrey Dietz (friend Tom Detzler), Larry (Debbie) Huber, Gary (Barb) Huber, Bruce (Theresa) Huber, Wayne (Laurie) Huber and Simon (Karen) Huber. She will also be specially remembered by Donna Huber and Judy Huber. She will also be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters in-law: Victor (Audrey) Culbert, Velda (Les-predeceased) Howe, George (Shirley) Culbert and Joanne (Gary) Hamer. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Simon and Loretta (Strauss), brothers-in-law Garry Dietz, John Calvert, Jerome Voisin, father and mother-in-law George Sr.and Allie Culbert , as well as nephews Matt Huber, Greg Dietz and Ben Hamer. Harriet had just received her 40 yr. pin as a CWL member and was a long-time parishioner of St. John's RC Church. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John's RC Church, 85 Strange St., Kitchener, on Monday, July 25th, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Cruz as Celebrant. Reception to immediately follow in the parish hall. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
