<h1>Mario Oliveira</h1> 1929 – 2006 Passed away suddenly, at his home on Tuesday October 24, 2006 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Dena and her husband Ed Moitoso of North Dumfries and Ines and her husband Antonio Amaral of Cambridge. Proud and loving grandfather of Victor and Steven Amaral and Mark and Marcia Moitoso. We know that Mario is in heaven holding his precious granddaughter Melanie Moitoso as he finishes his game of dominos with his brother-in-law Francisco. He is also predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Mario served in the Portuguese Navy for 7 years with pride for his country. In 1967 he brought his family to Canada and shared his unique gifts with the community of Cambridge as it’s first Portuguese baker. He was an avid outdoors man with a love of hunting and fishing. Many will remember his intense games of dominos, his love of soccer and his endless ritles and songs. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Mario with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where prayers will be recited at 8:30 pm with Father G. Catarino. The Mass of Christian Burial, in celebration of Mario’s life will be held at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 185 Elgin Street South, Cambridge on Saturday October 28, 2006 at 2 pm with Father A. Cunha as celebrant. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.
