<h1>Bertha Southwick</h1> (nee Brohman) 1922 – 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and friend, Bertha Beatrice Southwick (nee Brohman). Reunited with her beloved husband, Lawrence G. Southwick (1967). Loving and devoted mother of Noel and Sandy, Bonnie and Rick, Ron and Gail, Margaret and Michael, and Laura and Jim. Cherished grandmother of Brook (Tanya), Bryce (Sarah), Scott (Alison), Paul (Marci), Kimberly, Adam, Sarah, Daniel, Joshua, Rebecca (Steve), Craig (Ammie) and Kyle (Steph). Proud great-grandmother of Benjamin, Drew, Amelia, Emmett, Nathaniel, Brianna, and Samantha. Born on a farm near Drayton, Ontario, Bertha was the daughter of Peter Brohman and Magdalina (Doerfler). She is predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Fred, Louis, Jack, George, Harvey and Lloyd. She will be greatly missed by her immediate family; an extended family of cherished nieces and nephews; Joan and Ann; and many close and wonderful friends. Bertha led a very full, rewarding life and will be remembered by all for her quiet dedication to all those she loved; her adventurous spirit and fierce independence; her love of life, travel, bowling, ice cream cones and cards. Visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Bertha’s Life in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. It is with much love and appreciation that we say goodbye to our mother. She, along with our father, will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
