LAWSON, Joanne
Passed away unexpectedly while travelling, on Saturday, September 3, 2011.
Joanne is survived by her beloved husband Archie, her loving sons and daughters-in-law Trevor (Debra), Jeremy (Lori Jean), Nathan (Anna), as well as her cherished grandchildren Van and Robin. She will also be remembered by her brothers Larry (Myra) MacLean and Cameron MacLean, sister Dianne (Richard) Tessman and her sister-in-law Marion MacLean. Joanne was predeceased by her brother Douglas MacLean and parents Robert and Dorothy (nee Corriveau) MacLean.
Joanne was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, London . She worked at London Life, Apex Metal Manufacturing and was currently working at Equitable Life. Joanne and Archie enjoyed their time together traveling, whether by car or on the Harley. She was a dynamic member of her clogging group, an avid gardener and always had a song to share on her piano or fiddle. Joanne's genuine spirit, her thoughtful nature and enthusiastic laughter will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Joanne with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St. W., Waterloo on Monday, September 12 at 10:30 am with Monsignor Edward Sheridan as Celebrant. A reception and tributes will follow in the Parish Hall. Private interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
