Obituary of Lois Marna Clarke

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Loving wife of Ken and dear mother of Bruce Mills Clarke (Karen) and Jeffrey David Clarke (Annikka Snow). Special grandma to Oliver Snow. Fondly remembered by her foster sister Susan Wright. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Velma Mills and her sister Marion Brown (William). Marna worked for Waterloo Region School Board as school secretary for 27 years at Lexington Public School and Margaret Avenue Senior Public School and also taught part time for 11 years with the Adult Basic Education class. She was past president of Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre and an enthusiastic volunteer with Canadian Food for Children since 1995. Her interests were reading, designing and hooking original rag rugs. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marna with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Mark Lewis officiating. Reception to follow.
