Until her retirement, Lee was employed with the University of Waterloo in the photography department. Many of her works were published and publically exhibited, in particular, her portrait photographs which artfully captured the essence of her subjects. Lee was a fiercely independent woman, and lived her life on her own terms, often expressed through travel, hiking, skiing, and her, photography. In her later years Lee had a passion for gardening which she carried on into her early 90’s. She was particularly proud of her beautiful rose garden in the back yard of her Waterloo home. Lee made many friends in the Catholic community and was an active and faithful parishioner of St. Agnes RC Church, Waterloo. Special thanks to the staff at Sunnyside for their many kindnesses to Lee and the volunteer palliative care workers who so gently and caringly attended to Lee in her last days. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lee with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale Street North, Waterloo on Wednesday, January 4 at 10 am.
