Obituary of Louis Edward Brophy

Louis Edward Brophy passed away at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on February 18, 2017, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1940 to his father Louis Brophy Sr. and mother, Mary Muriel Brophy (both deceased). He was the brother of Donald Joseph Brophy (deceased), and sister-in-law Jayne Brophy, niece and nephews, Shannon, Brian and Kevin, all of Boca Raton, Florida. He is survived by his loving sons Patrick Brophy of Kitchener and Christopher Brophy of Waterloo. His grandchildren are Patrick’s child Jomel and Chris’ children Michael, Taylor, Ayden and Carter. The family will have a private service. He gave great joy to many of his friends over the years with his talent as a mandolin musician. Louis will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
