Obituary of Alexander Williams

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 84. Predeceased by parents Edwin and Elizabeth (nee McQuillan) and sister Emily (Dave) Garvin. Cherished uncle of Barbara, David, Amber, Heather and Stephen. Alex will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. During his spare time, Alex enjoyed art, classical music and very long walks. He was a member at Bethel Chapel, Waterloo and thrived with the support given by Christian Horizons in K-W. His summers consisted of studies at Fair Havens Bible Conference, spending time with family and friends and reminiscing stories from the old days. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service in celebration of Alex’s life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at Bethel Chapel, 16 Laurel St., Waterloo.
