Obituary of Kenneth Horsley

Ken passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Columbia Forest LTC, Waterloo, at the age of 82 years from Parkinson's. Predeceased by his wife, Ailsa, in 2009. Ken was born in England in 1935 and moved to Canada with his wife in 1969. He worked for many years as an electrician at Labatt's in Waterloo. He subsequently worked for a shorter period doing outdoor maintenance at The Westmount Golf & Country Club. He particularly enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing, gardening, and others. Ken and his wife travelled back to the U.K. numerous times to visit friends and family. Ken was a kind, gentle, caring man, and a devoted husband. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow at Parkview Cemetary in Waterloo. As per Ken's wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. Special thanks to the staff at Columbia Forest LTC for their care and support during his stay with them.
