Obituary of Paul Raymond Mitchner

Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the age of 86. He will be missed by his step-granddaughters, Lara Muller-Starr, Lorna Muller and Mona Eichmann, Lara’s husband, Dave Starr, and Lorna’s husband, Dave Bates, and his great-grandchildren, Nathan Starr, Kieran Bates and Heidi Lamb.  He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Mary, Alice and Patty and extended family in Pennsylvania.  He is now reunited with his parents, George Mitchner and Lily Mitchner (nee Wells), wife, Annaliese Mitchner, and his stepson, Roland Muller and Rolly's spouse, Joan Muller.  “Uncle Paul" was an American soldier, painter, musician, and a loving man with a pure and gentle heart.   Special thanks to Dr. Kelly, Dr. Kalra and nurse Stephanie for their wonderful support and care.  A funeral service will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.  Condolences for the family and donations to Community Music School of Waterloo Region may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
