MEYER, Dennis Theodore

Denny passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Peg (Karn) for 70 years. Loved father of Jan and Terry Friedmann, Greg and Arlene Meyer and David and Brenda Meyer; loving grandfather of Michael (Rachel), Chad (Kim), Nicholas, and Megan (Duke) and great-grandfather of Kierstan, Michael, Cody and Kara. Dear brother of Jerome Meyer (Margaret). He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by a granddaughter Ashley and brothers, Howard and his wife Margaret and Lorne.

Denny was the Co-Founder, with his brother Howard, of Meyer Industrial Distributors. He was also the Past President of Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and the Waterloo Rotary Club. A supporter of KidsAbility and Past Director and Life Member of the Westmount Golf & Country Club. He was also a member of the Atlantis Golf Club in Florida.

A private funeral will be held. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Denny’s life during a reception to be held at the Westmount Golf & Country Club, 50 Inverness Drive, Kitchener on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 2 until 4 p.m.
