Hello Vickie and Julie and family,
Thinking of you and wish I could be there tomorrow. Your mom was my 2nd mom in the summers growing up and I can only think of her as kind and thoughtful and loving. She really took care of us and helped us grow up to be the remarkable people we are. i guess it is our turn to pass it on.
I'm so sorry for your loss,
Hugs,
-Wendy Wilson

Greetings Dear Family!
I will always treasure the precious memories of Mrs. Sarah Dyck. When we first met, we greeted each other with a pleasant smile until one day she handed me a poem she wrote. Wow, when I read it I knew that Parkwood has a hidden jewel. Indeed, Sarah was an accomplished person, kind, and she loved the Lord. I will always remember Sarah’s gracious personality. With love, Stella

Hidden Jewel at Parkwood
Mrs. Sarah Dyck has been a tenant at Parkwood Suites
since 2008. She was born in Wilmot Township, Ontario in 1924.
Sarah studied English Literature at Bethel College, Kansas; University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, and the
University of Waterloo, Ontario.
She likes to write poems and to translate books from German to English.
I hope you will enjoy reading the poem, ‘Parkwood Menu’ that Sarah recently wrote.
Parkwood Menu
The tables are set in gatherings of four,
vintage survivors of peace time and war;
ladies and gents, crowned with white wisps--or not--
shuffling along in slow stumble or trot.
From on high comes the call: to kneel and adore.
Hurricane breezes waft through the door;
hands fly out in greeting, flags awry in flight,
an easel ahead looms into the light.
Carte blanche for all, plebeians or kings,
nutrition and action, a palette of things.
Blessed are they who gratefully choose
these gilded options, suite offerings.
Thoughts buzz like drones, flit here and there,
drop packets of leftovers, cold dreams, everywhere;
memories submerged, lost decades gone by,
surface once more as night time draws nigh.
