Obituary of Mary Victoria Frances Groff

Mary passed away peacefully with family at her side at Lanark Heights Long Term Care on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 86.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Gordon Groff in 2015, parents Charles and Victoria (Dynes) Lusty, an infant son, brother John (Jay) Lusty, son-in-law Randy Menka, sister-in-law Simone Lusty and brother-in-law John (Jack) Geddes.

Loved mother of Carolyn Menka, Cynthia Moorby (Ted), Libby Groff (Kevin Brown) and David Groff (Shannon McGaw).  Loving grandmother of Graham Moorby (Jennifer), Victoria Boehr (Dustin), Rachel and Benjamin Menka (Courtney Ballantyne), Lucretia and William Groff, Amelia Brown, and great-grandmother of Adeline and Everleigh Moorby. Dear sister of Gordon Lusty.  Mary will be missed by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jenn Hind officiating.  A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.  Interment will take place following the reception at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
