I worked with closely with Curtis at Manulife. He was a joy to work with, intelligent, dedicated and had a rare quality in business today, integrity.
I would like to extend my condolences to Henriett and to his two sons Justus and Samuel who I know will miss him terribly. It is impossible to understand why such trials come to good people. All we can do is try to honour their example.

Dear Wayne, Trudy, Henrietta, Justus, & Samuel, Tracy & Shelby,
Erika & I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Curtis who held such a special role as the ring bearer at our wedding almost 47 years ago. It feels like just yesterday that we were all gathered together, celebrating that joyous occasion with him by our side.
His presence on that day brought a unique warmth and innocence to the ceremony, and his smile was truly infectious. Though time has passed, the memories of that day remain etched in our hearts, and he will always hold a cherished place in our hearts and memories.
As we mourn his loss, may we find solace in the love and memories we shared with him throughout the years. I know that we didn’t see him a lot, but my Mom always kept us in the loop about how he, Henrietta and the boys were doing. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
