Obituary of Dennis Charles Lindner

Dennis “Buck” Lindner

September 11, 1946 – April 1, 2024

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

Survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 54 years Jeanette, his daughter Lori Lindner Erb (Brian) and his son Dan Lindner, his grandchildren Talia Korn (Alex) and Cameron Erb (Dianna).  Dennis will also be fondly missed by his two brothers Ken (Jean) and Leonard “Louie” (Penny), one sister and he will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews as Uncle Buck.

Predeceased by his parents Henry Max Lindner and Margaret nee Thornton.

Dennis worked for many years in the family business Rendnil Manufacturing and later worked as a Millwright for Hoffman Meats and then later Conestoga Meats until his retirement. He loved his time at the cottage in MacGregor Bay with family and friends, mostly enjoying time on the deck with his many four-legged companions, his homemade slingshot and a nice cold beer. He cherished his time playing darts, horseshoes, hunting, fishing, boating and spending time outdoors whenever he could. Dennis will also be remembered for always having a funny joke at the ready.

Special thanks to all the nurses on the fifth floor at Grand River Hospital for their care shown to Dennis.
