Obituary of Roseleta Meldrum

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at St. Mary's General Hospital, at age 74. Loving mother of David Driver (Beth), Roy Driver (Norma Hawkinson), Wayne Driver (Monica), Darlene Pfohl (Mike), and Kathy Geary (Ray); loved Nana of Jake, Sam, Luke, Eileen, Rob, Aaron, David, Scott, Mark and Holly, proud great-Nana of Draven, Kindred, Phoenix, Gryphon and Shayla; dear sister of Susan, Theresa, Utha and Hugh. Also will be fondly remembered by her good friends Debbie and Veronica. Mom also enjoyed a special relationship with Rev. Doug Kranz. Thanks for the friendship and support each of you provided to her. We wish to thank the amazing 5th floor staff at St. Mary's hospital for the professional and compassionate care provided to Mom and all of us during her two week stay. We are so grateful to each of you as we could not have gone through this without your support. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Elizabeth McKinnon. Mom had two special interests in her life, she dedicated many years of service to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 530 in Waterloo and she loved all the dogs in her life, Tasha, Princess, Sammy and Gunner. We told her she would be the official dog walker of heaven. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday June 23 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Kranz officiating. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 530, Regina St., Waterloo Mom's wishes were to be buried in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
