Obituary of Norma Geelhaar

It has pleased Almighty God to summon from this life, his faithful servant Norma at the age of 99 years. She passed away peacefully at Heritage House in St. Jacobs on July 5, 2012. She has touched many lives and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Originally from Listowel, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter; her parents, Henry Holtzman and Matilda (nee Wahl) and by twin sister, Dora Hicks. She was employed for 28 years at Grand River Hospital and was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Norma is survived by her devoted daughter, Ruth Ann Paetz and son-in-law, Bob of Waterloo; her beloved grandson, David Paetz and his wife, Marlene and by her beloved great-grandson, William Paetz. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Doug Kranz officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo will follow the service. Reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
