Obituary of Douglas Holland

Passed way at Lanark Heights Long Term Care facility on Monday July 9, 2012 age 84 years. Dutch was the loving husband of Margaret Anne Holland (nee) Whitfield. Loving father to Wendy Holland of Kitchener and Darryll Holland and his wife Cathy of Elmira. Step father to Elizabeth, Shawna & Leslie. Dear grandfather to Kyle & Kevin Scheifele, Nathan (Cindy) Holland, Tyler & Cailey Holland. Step grandfather to Andrew, Whitney, Lauren, Lindsey, Chad & Maggie. Loving Great Grandfather to Wade & Cambria Holland and Zackary Scheifele. Fondly remembered by his sister Dorothy Golschesky (Walter) and brother Wayne Holland (Karen). Dutch is predeceased by his first wife Edna Holland (nee) Armbruster. Dutch was employed at Uniroyal for over 40 dedicated years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dutch with his family during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 12-2 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bruce Sweet officiating. Cremation has already taken place. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room of the Funeral Home.
