My condolences go to the Ridley Family. I had the pleasure to have gone to highschool with Dan. Despite the distance we did stay in touch. I was happy to have been able to see and talk to him at the WCIs 50th Anniversary Reunion along with the gang. These fond memories will not be forgotten. Mr. & Mrs. Ridley and Jalynn, I am deeply saddened by Dan's passing. I will always remember him as the funny guy. I have fond memories of grade school with him at Erbsville and on through highschool. Such devastating news, and still so hard to believe. I’m so sorry for your loss and can’t imagine the challenge of trying to cope with the space in your family. But if there’s solace to be found, it’s in the wonderful memories and relationships Dan built in his life that will let him live on in so many people’s hearts. For my part, I still regularly think about conversations on the streets around Belmont Village, and how Dan shared a new passion and perspective on music for me that I still enjoy today. My those kind of memories for me, and for everyone, help his spirit live on for years to come.
