Obituary of Lorne Becker

Peacefully at Trinity Village ( Freeport Site ) on Thursday September 20, 2012 in his 82nd year. Lorne Becker, loving husband of Kathryn Becker ( nee ) Capling. Dear father of John Becker & his wife Nina of Conestogo Lake, Bill Becker & his wife Donna of Toronto, Ann Manley & her husband Dave Frittenburg of Cambridge, and Jane McCormack & her husband Patrick of Chicago. Loving Grandfather of Aidan & Mikhel McCormack. Remembered by his sister Merlene ( Grant ) Yandt, and his brother Garry Becker ( Wanda ). Brother in law of Helen Bishop, Jeanette Bridle, Lois Mansfield and Robert Dahmer. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his sister in law Norma Dahmer. Lorne was a participant in the Parkinson`s Rehabilitation Program in Waterloo and a member of the Heritage Greens Lawn Bowling Club in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lorne with his family during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday September 23, 2012 from 1-2 pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 2 pm. Reception in the Fireside Room of the Funeral Home will follow immediately.
