Obituary of Vera Schlueter

Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Waterloo on Monday, September 24, 2012, age 90. Dear mother of Wallace, of Elmira, Glen and his wife Gale, of Tottenham, and Karen and her husband Dan of Winnipeg. Loving grandmother of Andrea (Trent), Matthew (Marsha), Aimee (Rick), Nicole (Darrell),Derek, Darryl (Lori), Vance (Mandy). Will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren Jordan, Zachary, Caitlyn, Andrew, Jacob, Katherine, Theo, Brianne and Madison, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Mabel Bruder, Alice Service, Annie Bowman, Verna Wagner, Jean Kurt and her brother Orville Heimpel. Vera was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church. Also a resident of Pinehaven Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed the art of quilting, her grandchildren and the sweet treat of maple sugar candy. Friends are invited to share their memories of Vera with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. Reception to immediately follow the funeral service. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
