I was so saddened to learn of David's death. I worked with him for many years at Seneca College. He guided me with intelligence and patience, generously sharing his knowledge as I embarked upon a career path similar to his own. I continue to apply what I learned from him, so I will think of him often and remember him fondly. My deepest sympathy to you all in your loss.

David was a true gentleman, intelligent and thoughtful and interested in many things. Knowing we were building an anaerobic digester, he occasionally emailed information on ADs and other green technologies. We will miss him, and feel privileged to have known him. Carmeta, our thoughts are with you.

David's lovely dry wit will be dearly missed. He was also a generous mad kind person who thought well of others but was not a naive person, he was well read on many subjects and kept himself informed on local and global news. I will miss his smile and his quiet charm.
