Obituary of Helen Wendell

With sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother on September 28th, 2012 into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by daughters, Frances, Mary (Bo), Kathleen (Claude), Irene (Cliff) and son Raymond. Helen is also survived by seven Grandchildren, eight Great-Grandchildren, sister Mary Charbonneau of Hawkesbury Ontario, sister Soeur Edouard De Marie, S.C.O. of Ottawa Ontario, and sister-in-law Leona Bin. Helen is predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd, her parents Tekla and Bronislaw Bin, brother Edward Bin, brother in law Rene Charbonneau, sons-in-law Gerry Aubie and Consilio DeFrancesco. Our mother was a giver to her family, her friends and her church. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and she had a 50 year pin from the Catholic Woman's League. She also led the Rosary for many years at the noon masses. We could always count on her love and care. Her prayers and angels were always with us when we travelled and her advice when we asked. She has earned her gold medal and gold star in heaven. Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday October 1st, from 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held 7:45 p.m at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michaels RC Church, 240 Hemlock St, Waterloo, on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. O'Mahoney as Celebrant. Condolences for the family and donations to a St. Mary Cardiac Care Center may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519.745.8445. Let Not your heart be troubled. I go to prepare a place for you. - John 14
