Obituary of William Cunningham

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. It is with great sadness that Craig and BJ Cunningham announce the sudden passing of their beloved son, William John Cunningham, on Thursday, November 15. William celebrated his second birthday on October 26, and brought joy and laughter to the lives of everyone he met. He is missed especially by his big sister, Victoria. William is the grandson of JoAnn Collins and the late John Collins, and of Bernard Cunningham and the late Patricia Cunningham; nephew of Jeff Collins, Calum and Tracy Cunningham, and Christina and Todd Gosnell; cousin of Duncan, Gwenyth, Norah, Julia, and Charlotte; and great-grandson of Eileen Cunningham. Our hearts are broken because he is gone, yet his big, bright smile and loving nature will be with us forever. The funeral will take place at Trinity United Church, 74 Frederick Street, Kitchener, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to KidsAbility Foundation would be appreciated and can be arranged by contacting the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, 519.745.8445 or www.erbgood.com
