Uncle Hugh, Cousins and families, Sending each of you our deepest sympathy. Phyllis was loved by many and she loved and cared for everyone her life touched. While visiting with Phyllis there was sure to be smiles and laughter. Beyond that was her genuine concern for others especially those who were ill or experiencing difficulty. Phyllis loved to cook and bake. She delighted in graciously serving her guests. Linen tablecloths and napkins for sure. She continued to participate in this art even while ill. Just a few weeks ago she shared her recipe for ham and bean soup. She also suggested what to serve with it. Earl and I enjoyed the soup then and will enjoy it even more the next time for we will reflect on our wonderful Aunt Phyllis. love Joan and Earl Haid

Hugh, Karen, Darrell, Rob, Trevor and families, I want to pass on to you my deepest sympathy and prayers. The picture you have posted is how I remember Phyllis.....always smiling! I will always remember her laughter and her sense of humour. Something that has always brought me comfort in times like this is the belief that someone you love never really leaves you. They remain a part of each and every person they have loved and touched, in their hearts, in their memories. We can picture them and relive special moments at will. A part of Phyllis will live on in all of you.

We are so very sorry to hear about your loss. From our family to yours, our most heartfelt sympathies. Upon our return to London from the funeral mass, Bernie recalled during his university days having been invited over for breakfast. Phyllis had cooked up a storm. So much yummy food. Bacon and eggs, so very delicious, the best he's ever had. For Anna's bridal shower she gave a set of pie plates with recipes etched on them which we still have after 31 years of use! A wonderful cook and a great lady. She will be sadly missed.
