Obituary of Robert Weber

Robert (Bob) Weber passed away suddenly as the result of a heart attack, surrounded by family at Grand River Hospital on February 20, 2013. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an astute business man and extremely active serving the community. Rotary was his passion and he was a two time Paul Harris Fellow, awarded by Rotary International for outstanding services in both the Oshawa and Kitchener Conestoga Rotary clubs. He accomplished 41 years perfect attendance and 28 years on the board of directors between the two clubs. He always cared deeply about others and was the Health and Welfare Committee Lead for Rotary and Probus, regularly visiting and supporting members on behalf of the clubs. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and his weekly breakfasts with the ROMEOS. Joan and Bob enjoyed travelling and took regular road trips as well as many trips around the world. He also participated in curling, fishing, sailing and golfing trips with his friends. He truly lived life to its fullest. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan (Heintzman), his children Paul Weber, Karen and Sid Paquette, Laurie and Joel Levesque, Jane and Bill Young, Mike Heintzman and Carrie MacMillan; his grandchildren, James and Andrew Paquette, Joel and Alex Levesque, Billy, Joey and Bobby Young, and Maddex Heintzman.
