Obituary of Kathryn Becker

Peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 2012, in her 80th year. Kathryn Becker, loving wife of the late Lorne Becker (2012). Dear mother of John Becker and his wife Nina of Conestogo Lake, Bill Becker and his wife Donna of Kitchener, Ann Manley and her husband Dave Frittenburg of Cambridge, and Jane McCormack and her husband Patrick of Chicago. Loving Grandmother of Aidan and Mikhel McCormack. Remembered by her sister Helen Bishop, her stepsisters Jeanette Bridle and Lois Mansfield. Sister in law of Robert Dahmer, Gary Becker and Merlene Yandt and her husband Grant. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Norma Dahmer and stepsister Marlene Carse and her husband Bob. Kathryn was a member of the Heritage Greens Lawn Bowling Club in Kitchener, a member of several bridge clubs and a member of the Probus Women's Club of Kitchener-Westmount. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service for Kathryn at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in the chapel at 1pm. Reception in the Fireside Room of the Funeral Home will follow immediately. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson's Research at Wilfrid Laurier University may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. But above all, and as a tribute to their Mom, the family requests that everyone do something nice for someone today!
