Obituary of Kenneth Maude

Passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Saturday, June 1, 2013 a few days short of his 86th birthday. Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife Rhoda in 2009, daughter-in-law Darlene in 2010 and son Keith in 2011. He is survived by his children, Barb Baker, Ray (Suz) Maude, Susan (John) Fischer and Gary Maude, his grandchildren, Coleen (Chris) Shepherd, Sean (Lori) Baker, Nicholas (Rachael Drost) Maude, Amanda (Tim) Eidt, Crystal Fischer and Jason Fischer, as well as his great-grandchildren Dustin, Tyler, Emily, Kaitlin, Matthew, Billie, Wyatt and Logan. Ken is also survived by his sister-in-law Jean Maude and was predeceased by brothers Thomas and William and his sister Myrtle. Born in Rockwood Ontario to the late Henry and Hazel (nee Clarke) Maude, Ken was employed in Kitchener with Inter-City Truck Lines and later Budd Automotive for over 20 years until his retirement. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ken with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Ken's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, June 8, at 4:00 pm. A reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
